Tonight Owen was a little bit fussy, we went on a long walk and he took a short cat nap but still had about an hour before bath and bedtime. He was whimpering and doing some cry-smile for me. I just wanted to snuggle my little bug tonight so I stripped him down to his diaper, took off my shirt and wrapped him in tight to the Moby wrap, skin-to-skin.
I kept him there while I finished cleaning up and heated some left overs for my dinner. He was nice and calm when I took him out and placed him in a warm tub. Lots of splashes for Mama tonight - then nursed to sleep.
I guess sometimes, even on a hot summer night, a baby boy just needs his Mama.
