Deep Creek, MD

We found out last minute that Jeremy had the holiday weekend off, and since we've struggled to find family time over the past two months we decided to steal away on a mini trip. Luckily, thanks to some wonderful recommendations from friends, we discovered Deep Creek, Maryland is only a short 2 hr drive. On Saturday we slept in and then packed up our little guy for a weekend adventure.

The public beach access to the lake was beautiful Saturday afternoon, so Owen dipped his baby toes in sand FOR THE FIRST TIME and we played for a while, enjoying the views, the sunshine and our time together as a family.
