This morning I found Owen playing in a pile of Foley catheters.
You can see his expression after I told him what they're used for ;)
In a few years he'll be tired of "sorting" these and they will probably double as whips and swords.
At least in our house any way ;)

too funny
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why those are in your house. Does he need them at home?
ReplyDeleteWhen Jeremy is on service he takes home call, which means he runs between home and the six hospitals all night. The most common thing they are called in for is to place catheters but it can take up to three hours for the right catheter to be sent down, so they have some of their own so they don't have to wait around (and can go back home to bed)
ReplyDeleteusually they are put away, but Jeremy left a few on the couch and owen found them immediately.
ReplyDeleteWhatever, the internet knows you leave random medical equipment out all over your house while your toddler roams around.
ReplyDeletewe try to keep the scalpels out of his reach, but rubber penis tubes are totally fair game in this house ;)
