Fever persists

Unfortunately O wasn't much better today. We struggled to keep his fever below 103.5 and had to put him in a tepid bath when it reached over 104 -- he was NOT a fan. He nursed and slept on us for most of the day so the good news is he's hydrated. I'm so glad we're still nursing and he can find comfort when he's ill. He hasn't eaten in two days and is only drinking a few sips of water for us out of the sippy cup. We're trying to avoid going to the hospital so we've been in contact with the doctor and as long as he's nursing and we can keep his fever down a little bit it is fine for us to take care of him at home. The doctor wants to see him tomorrow morning at 10am.

Tonight as I was rocking Owen to sleep he threw up all over me. Jeremy came in to grab him and help me get cleaned up. Oddly enough, Owen's fever broke and all of a sudden he wanted to play with toys and eat some cheese?

We'll see what the rest of tonight brings...
