I just got back from lunch with my adorable husband and I was dying for some candy. My secretary has mints on her desk, and as far as I'm concerned MINTS do not count as CANDY and should never be offered as such (especially to pregnant people).
I wanted chocolate.
After cornering most of my office mates and coming away with nothing but FRUIT offers (do bananas or apples satisfy anyone's CANDY craving? I think not) I decided to thoroughly scour my desk.
JACKPOT! At the very bottom corner of one of my desk drawers, I came across a foil wrapped Reese's chocolate heart... FROM VALENTINES DAY.
AND I ATE IT.
Let's just hope it was from this past Valentine's Day and not 2008.
