and, i just wanted to share this with you, you pry already know this, but when i read it yesterday in my preggo journal, i thought of you and little owen -

"The Hebrew word for parents is horim, and it comes from the same root as moreh, teacher. The parent is, and remains, the first and more important teacher that the child will ever have." ~Rabbi Kassel Abelson

  2. thanks for the congrats :) yes, my parents finally got their tell gift!

I think the Holy Spirit always knows when we need encouragement the most! we did the billi levels, scary, if you dont put your baby in the hospital he might die (such an overexaggeration by our ped!) business when johnny was born, too. exacerbated by nursing and mama/baby different blood types.

its hard because they are so tiny! just remember that you're the parents, and we don't get those "mama feelings" for nothing.

also, breastfed babies have higher bili spikes because breast milk digests so easily that they don't have to poop as much as formula kiddos, so it takes a little longer to get the nasties out of their system! and its easy to get dehydrated under those lights!

so hang in there. prayers for all of you and i'm sure you're great parents already :)
